UNPREDICTABLE
Our ‘classic but unpredictable’ wedding took place during September at Castle Howard in North Yorkshire.
This amazing couple wanted something truly unique, a ceremony in classic white but a reception with a twist!
The ceremony took place inside the castle itself and was dressed with beautiful pure white hydrangea, white Orchids and white roses all tied together with lush green foliage. This white and green theme continued through to the wedding breakfast, although the rich green tones were then swapped for the more lively lime green tones you can see, but it was the after party that really gave this wedding its title!
Taking place within a glass marquee in the castle grounds, the brief for the after party was simply ‘party atmosphere’, something in complete contrast to the wedding ceremony. From that, the wonderfully opulent ‘nightclub’ bloomed in shades of pink and purple. With the lighting dimmed and the luxurious furniture in place, the mix of colour added a certain magnificence to an already beautiful space.
Magnificence of this scale needs a platform to really shine and after four days of floral installation this breath-taking venue played host to nearly 150 guests perfectly topped off by a surprise performance by Sir Rod Stewart.
